Atlanta, home of the Peachtree Road Race, is a city on the run

Atlanta’s year-round mild climate (with some notable exceptions and surprises) allows runners to practice and compete during all four seasons and hundreds of thousands take advantage of it. It’s almost impossible to drive anywhere without seeing a runner or biker and at almost any time of day.

Many top runners, such as Olympian Jeff Galloway, make Atlanta their headquarters and are great influences on the average athletes.

Galloway was one of the main founders of the world’s top 10K road race, the annual Peachtree Road Race.
