2009 Corks & Forks: A Fine Food & Wine Event

Corks & Forks: A Fine Food & Wine Event once again welcomes food lovers to Grant Park for a top-notch al fresco tasting experience. Welcoming a host of Atlanta’s top chefs for a two-day affair, Corks & Forks provides an opportunity to sample some of the city’s best fare. The delicious dishes will be complemented by international wine pairings and beer tastings.  Restaurants include: Babette’s Cafe, Bhojanic, Cabot Creamery, Canoe, Dolce, ENO, Food 101, Geisha House, JCT Kitchen , Murphy’s , ONE midtown kitchen, PARISH, Peasant Bistro, Rathbun’s , Redfish a Creole Bistro, Six Feet Under, TAP, The Melting Pot, The Shed at Glenwood, The Sun Dial Restaurant, Bar & View, Trois and TWO urban licks.

Corks & Forks takes place during the Summer Shade Festival, held each year in Atlanta’s oldest public park. Summer Shade welcomes attendees to a full weekend of fun. In 2009, the Seventh Annual Summer Shade Festival will include a variety of live music performances, a juried Artist Show and Market and delicious food from local restaurants. The Children’s Area is a family favorite with storytellers, jugglers, sing-a-longs and kid-sized craft projects. The Summer Shade Festival is a free event.
