Minus: An Exhibition

Minus, an exhibition featuring emerging artists from across the country and from several different minority communities, including Black, Latina, and LGBT, the combination of which verges on the majority.  Works will be of multiple mediums, including painting, sculpture, printmaking and photography, and deal with issues of identity: gender, sexuality, culture and the body.

The show’s title “Minus” represents how women and minorities are underrepresented in the art world. This group exhibition is designed to manifest the influence of the “minority” on contemporary culture and on the art world.
