Arguably one of the best things about Atlanta aside from the weather is the anticipation of knowing that something new is set to open at any moment. From malls and shopping centers to nightclubs and restaurants, there seems to always be something to look forward to and try out. In this instance, it happens to be in the form of American’s favorite way to spend leisure time, dining out at a hip new restaurant with good food.

The newest resident of Midtown’s hotspot Atlantic Station is none other than Yard House restaurant. Opening its first Georgia location this past April, the menu consists of American fusion cuisine that casual diners, as well as die-hard foodies, are sure to find appetizing. However, the creative menu offerings aren’t the only thing that patrons can look forward to. They can also take note of the 100 to 250 taps of draft beer amidst a playlist of rock n’ roll classics and contemporary hits filling the chicly decorated space.

Open daily for lunch, dinner and late-night dining, Yard House has an expansive menu (over 130 items) that aims to appeal to practically everyone. There are many standouts, but some of the more notable highlights include: Moo Shu egg rolls, (Mac + Cheese)2, Orange Peel Chicken, Jerk Chicken& Shrimp Stack, Porcini Crusted Halibut, Crab Crusted Swordfish, Lobster Garlic Noodles, Lemon Soufflé and Macadamia Nut Cheesecake. Yard House also caters to diners that have specific food needs by including a Gardein Menu, which is a chicken or beef substitute made from soy, wheat, pea proteins, vegetables and ancient grains, and also items that are gluten sensitive.  The little diners are covered too, as the Kids Klub menu features kid-friendly dishes, with each coming with a 12-pageactivity book to keep them occupied while the food is being prepared.

Now that the menu offerings are duly noted, the most impressive thing about Yard House that sets it apart from the Atlanta competition is the state-of-the-art Keg Room that houses the hundreds of beers on tap. The ale is transported from the Keg Room through a selection of nylon and steel tubing that filters into the 130 taps at the restaurant’s center bar. They also feature a fun series for patrons to indulge in, known as the “Chalkboard Beer Series” that highlights limited beer releases from craft brewers that rotate frequently to ensure there is always something new brewing on tap.

Yard House is conveniently located at 261 19th Street NW Atlanta, GA 30363,404-815-8990, which is right next to Old Navy and just steps away from the Regal Cinema Theaters at Atlantic Station. They are open Monday-Thursday 11amto 1am, Friday and Saturday 11am to 2am and Sunday 11am to midnight.
