The official source of what's happening in Atlanta, GA
It’s that time again Atlanta! That’s right, calling all the city’s foodies who love an excuse to indulge in some of the most amazing culinary fare prepared by the experts. Downtown Atlanta Restaurant Week is gearing up again, and some of the best restaurants in the city are taking part to showcase just what makes their food so special. So pull up a chair…or a plate, and dig in!
Downtown Atlanta Restaurant Week begins Saturday July 21st through Sunday July 29th, and for those of you who have participated before, you know that it’s a week filled with some of the best food the city (and its chefs) has to offer. Prix-fixe menu options at participating locations are $25 or $35 per person, including tax and tip. It’s as simple as that. These are meals that would easily run upwards of $50 naturally, so to get this much of a discount and sample exquisite cuisine is quite the treat. While there are no passes, coupons or cards to buy to dine, reservations are strongly encouraged and accepted at all restaurants.
Now that the monetary concerns are out of the way, the most important thing about this annual event is to know exactly which Atlanta restaurants are participating this year. In no particular order, here are some of the eateries you can expect to choose from in 2012:
Room at TWELVE Centennial Park
Ray’s in the City
Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse
There are various locations for this event scattered all across the downtown Atlanta area. To find the exact address of the restaurant(s) you choose to visit, please check the event website for more details.
