The official source of what's happening in Atlanta, GA
With over 40 years since the British Invasion took America by storm, the influence, love and adoration of The Beatles is just as intense as it was back then. To further prove the music of the Fab Four is some of the most timeless around, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra is paying tribute to the band with classical versions of their biggest hits.
On Saturday July 21st at 8pm, members of the Classical Mystery Tour who look and sound just like the group themselves, will be accompanied by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, as they add a classical take on some of The Beatles biggest hits including: Penny Lane, She Loves You, Yesterday and many more. The concert takes place in North Atlanta at Alpharetta’s Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park.
Conducted by Martin Herman, tickets for Atlanta Symphony Orchestra: Celebrate The Beatles ranges from $15 - $35 per person. This performance is part of the summer concert series taking place at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre all season long. It may have been several decades since the actual Beatles were making music that made the world take notice, however that doesn’t mean that you can’t step back in time for the evening and relive it all over again or for the very first time.
