It’s that time again Atlanta music fans! The music festival that you know and love is back to get you rocking out with some of the hottest acts around. Music Midtown is one of the city’s most highly attended and popular music festivals and it seems that each year things get bigger and better. What better way to usher in the fall season than to celebrate your inner rockstar.

Taking place at Midtown’s Piedmont Park September 21st and 22nd, Music Midtown promises to give you exactly what you’ve come to expect…great music in an awesome atmosphere. One of the best things about Music Midtown is the musical diversity it offers, there are hip hop, rock, R&B, punk and pop acts all performing over the course of the two-day event. This ensures that larger groups of music lovers are represented. The performance line-up this year is pretty darn good. On Friday, expect to see Foo Fighters, T.I., Van Hunt, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts and The Avett Brothers. Saturday offers an equally entertaining schedule with Pearl Jam, Ludacris, Florence + The Machine, Garbage, Civil Twilight, Neon Trees and O’Brother all performing live.

Often called the “Central Park of Atlanta,” Piedmont Park is an ideal venue for Music Midtown because it is expansive enough to give you plenty of room to enjoy the show, as well as bring the opportunity to bring your own picnic and beverages. However, if you do decide to bring alcoholic beverages or food it is advised that you check park regulations first.
