Home an endless amount of concerts, comedy shows
and sporting events, Atlanta’s Philips Arena isn’t generally known as home to
standout fine dining. Well, newly opened restaurant RED hopes to change all that
with a concept that lets you spectate the happenings at the arena, while
indulging in a meal worthy of second helpings. The location in the heart of
downtown is sure to not only attract residents, but visitors and tourists
alike. With so many openings of restaurants in the city occurring on a pretty
regular basis, only time will tell if RED has any true staying power, but it
appears as though they’re off to a pretty good start.

As the end of the regular season approaches, the Atlanta Hawks gear up for a first round playoff match-up against the 2008 NBA Champion, Boston Celtics. Hawks fans can't help but to wonder if and when this current Hawks group of core players can make a deep playoff run.
