Holiday music can come in many forms. There are
the popular sung interpretations, jazz collaborations and the undeniable beauty
of a collection of instruments within the same family. In this case that would
be the soothing sounds of a brass quintet. Held at Georgia Tech’s Ferst Center
of the Arts, successful quintet Empire Brass stops by to share their renditions
of the sounds of the season and hopefully make their audience’s holiday season
just a little bit better than usual.

Jazz music is one of the oldest forms of
self-expression, but unfortunately it lost its grasp on the popular music circuit
years ago. However, thanks to several events around the city, such as WCLK Jazz
Night, it ensures that the appreciation for music’s more intricate art form is preserved.
