Atlanta has many accommodations and attractions that make it one of the most popular and profiled cities in the country. The city of Atlanta can collectively rejoice because one of the hottest new musicals on Broadway is finally making its way to the city. Arguably, one of the funniest, most memorable and crowd-pleasing comedies of the 90’s is a full-fledged Broadway hit. In case you haven’t guessed, it’s the Whoopi Goldberg hit film Sister Act and it debuts at the Fox Theatre and runs from April 23rd until the 28th, so get your tickets while you can because this is guaranteed to be a fun ride for audiences of all ages!

One of the great things about Atlanta is that there are so many little neighborhoods, surrounding cities and towns that have their own identity. One such town is Woodstock, which has a host of restaurants that are all their own. The latest resident of Woodstock is the ultra chic Ice Martini & Sushi Bar, which in the words of the owners, “attempts to bring a touch of Buckhead to Woodstock.” From the looks of things, the upscale Buckhead neighborhood may have some friendly competition, but hey, in Atlanta there’s always room for everyone.

The New Year is officially upon us, with just a few days left in January. With a new year, comes new things to check out in Atlanta and one of the hottest shows in town is a Broadway favorite and a Tony award winner. If you haven’t guessed, the show that everyone is talking about is The Producers and it makes its stop in Atlanta this weekend and runs all the way until January 31st. With uproarious laughter, memorable music and an engrossing story, this is perhaps the best way to ring in all things new!

Holiday music can come in many forms. There are
the popular sung interpretations, jazz collaborations and the undeniable beauty
of a collection of instruments within the same family. In this case that would
be the soothing sounds of a brass quintet. Held at Georgia Tech’s Ferst Center
of the Arts, successful quintet Empire Brass stops by to share their renditions
of the sounds of the season and hopefully make their audience’s holiday season
just a little bit better than usual.
