My wife, her mom, and her sister are selling their huge collection of Department 56 Christmas houses. New, the collection was at least $6000--probably much more. They are asking $2900 cash and will not split the set and sell off pieces. They have priced it at a huge discount to move it as a group. Many of the retired pieces are rare and hard to find. If interested, we can email an extensive inventory list and more photos.
Most pieces are from the 201cDickens Village201d series, but there are a few from the 201cChristmas in the City201d series. All pieces are retired and were purchased beginning in the mid 1980s up to 1997. Every item is from prior to 1997.
All pieces (with the exception of a few accessories) are in their original Styrofoam packaging and sleeves. The sleeves show some wear from storage, but the items themselves do not.
