Join us for a Tribute to Classic Funk and the best of Nu Soul. Come early for DJ Dynamite Dave Soul with classic sounds, A Soul Train Tribute to Don Cornelius and God Father of Go Go Chuck Brown. Casual Cal Dupree host The "Crossroads of Funk" a live musical tribute featuring musicians and vocalists from Parliament, James Brown, Ohio Players, Brick and Outkast! Nu soul starlet Leela James adds to the live mix with her own music and a tribute the legendary Sam Cooke & Etta James. While also moving your-body to the sounds one of Atlanta's top DJs Kemit from Spread Love. R&B crooner Noel Gourdin kicks off the live music set with his hit "The River" and Atlanta-native Algebra Blessett performs billboard charts music. And end the weekends with some Zulu Connection, Giwayen Mata, Success Stars Pan Sounds, Youth Ensemble of Atlanta, Soweto Street Beat and more! A special performance by flugelhornist Alex Lattimore closes out the park.
