North Side Counties

Northside Atlanta can be defined as the City of Atlanta, and heading north, includes the communities of Midtown, Buckhead and Sandy Springs. The Northside region also includes the towns of Roswell, Alpharetta and Mountain Park (in Fulton County) and the city of Cumming (Forsyth County).

Each Northside community has a very distinctive personality, but generally speaking, this is the glamorous side of town, the side where you will find the widest array of restaurants and night spots, the most luxurious homes and exclusive neighborhoods, as well as the one of the highest median education levels and income levels.

Migration to the Northside shows no signs of slowing. There is still ample room for development, and the quality of life is still quite high. Inevitable questions regarding the downfalls of such rapid growth are being addressed by government officials who want to maintain the appeal that the Northside area has cultivated.
