North West Counties
There's virtually no limit to the activities waiting for you in the Northwest area of Atlanta. There are historic communities to explore, theme parks to visit, nature to enjoy. Combine this with a thriving business center known as the "Platinum Triangle" and a multitude of new home subdivisions throughout the area and you have the essence of Northwest Atlanta.
Comprised of Cherokee, Cobb, Douglas and Paulding counties, Northwest Atlanta is served by three major roadways, I-75, I-20 and I-575. The massive growth of Cobb County through the last decade has spilled over into the outlying areas, resulting in a mix of rural and urban lifestyles.
Cherokee Countys' managed growth has resulted in strict zoning that protects homeowner values. Douglas Countys' growth is in the form of one of the largest malls in Georgia, while Paulding County is developing a resort-style golf club and conference center.
