Atlanta is well known for its shopping malls and outlet centers. No matter where you live in Atlanta there is always a shopping mall or outlet center close by. Atlanta has some of the largest shopping malls in the southeast and has some of the most unique shops anywhere in the country offering something new for anyone.
You're sure to have a ball on your shopping spree in this "shopper's paradise" known for its diverse selection and quality. Most stores are open Monday-Saturday 10-9, Sunday noon-6. Many downtown stores close Sunday.
Sales tax is 7% in the city of Atlanta and Fulton County and 6%-7% in the suburbs.
From small boutiques that offer personalized items to wonderful outlet malls that offer unbelievable savings and bargains, there is sure to be some store, mall, or shop in the area for any type of shopper!
