12th Midtown District Expands with Raw Denim Opening

The 12 th & Midtown district is quickly (and easily) becoming one of the most popular areas of town and one which local businesses appear to be flocking to by the dozens. The latest local business to move to 12 th & Midtown is Buckhead boutique Raw Denim, which is set to pack up shop this fall from the northern part of the city to a cozier home right in the middle of town. Take a look and find out what to expect from the relocation as the 12 th & Midtown district continues to grow. 12 th & Midtown has announced the addition of fashion boutique, Raw Denim, to the district this fall.

The store will relocate from its current Buckhead location to a 1,861-square-foot space at 77 12 th Street, 12 th & Midtown's newest 23-story mixed use tower consisting of 330 luxury apartment homes atop 20,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. Raw Denim will be situated adjacent to 77 12 th 's residential lobby facing 12 th Street and join restaurants Taco Diner, Burger-Fi, Fig Jam and Tabla, also opening this fall. "We chose to move to 12 th & Midtown because it is an up and coming area and I am confident with the plans the development team has for the area. We are a specialty boutique that is fun and edgy, just like the other offerings within the district. Raw Denim is a perfect fit for the area," said Emily Lipman, Raw Denim owner.

"Raw Denim offers a one-of-a-kind boutique shopping experience. Featuring a vast array of exciting labels, Raw Denim is a perfect fit for Midtown's hip and dynamic customer base. We continue to embrace the idea of bringing unique, exciting shopping and dining destinations to Midtown. Atlanta-based Raw Denim, selected for its edgy approach to fashion, will bring some local flavor to our growing collection of experiences at 12 th & Midtown," said Shirley Gouffon, senior vice president of retail leasing for 12 th & Midtown and Selig Enterprises.

Raw Denim originally opened in Buckhead in 2010 and carries a fashionable mix of men's and women's clothing. The boutique blends unique and edgy styles, affectionately called "country rock," by the store's owner. The store carries designer denim, dresses, shirts and accessories from 7 Diamonds, 1921, Akiko, Bejeweled, Faith Connexion, Frye Boots, Hale Bob, L.A.M.B, MK2K, Old Gringo, Rock & Republic, Rich & Skinny, Robins Jean, Rock Revival, Sky, Salvage, Gypsy, Bertigo, Velvet, Young, Fabulous, & Broke, True Religion and more.
