4th and Swift New Summer Menu

Looking for an alternative to cooling off these hot summer days and maybe even heating up the nights? Atlanta's favorite 4th and Swift has recently released their new summer menu honoring the Summer Solstice. The eclectic restaurant sits at the old 4th Ward, birthplace of Dr. Martin Luther Kind Jr. and location of Ebenezer Baptist Church and the Sweet Auburn District. It has quickly become one of Atlanta's premier spots for wining and dining and offers everything from brunch to small plates. The dessert menu boasts sugared donuts and toffee pudding and their wine list has an impressive roster.

Patrons can expect to sample new spirits featuring bold infusions inspired by rock and roll. Pick your poison and enjoy responsibly. Try any of their new sizzling summer drinks, including the "heart-shaped box," inspired by Nirvana's hit featuring Bluecoat gin, Kirschwasser, cherry Heering, Giffard Ginger of the Indies, lemon, Bing cherry honey and cherry bark-vanilla bitters, as well as the "Velvet Elvis" featuring Great King St. Scotch whisky, Laphroaig 10, Giffard Banane du Bresil, house ginger beer, Citra hops, maple, lemon and walnut bitters. A nod to Jimmy Buffet, Gianaras' tangy "boat drink" boasts Damoiseau Rhum Agricole Blanc, Manuel Atxa white Vermouth, sugarcane, Ferrand dry Curacao, lime and orange bitters.

The interior (pictured below courtesy of 4th and Swift) offers guest an elegant feel, paired with bold accents. Exposed brick and piping give it a city feel, while the decadent food offers comfort. Enjoy full table service at the bar or enjoy your meal and cocktails in one of the many cozy booths or tables. Looking for something exciting for an upcoming birthday or anniversary? 4th and Swift offers a complimentary entree on your birthday and a free bottle of champagne for any anniversary celebration (24 hours notice is required). Be sure to stop in this summer to help take the edge off this ridiculous summer heat. For more information about the author, Denielle D'Ambrosio, please visit my Google+ profile page.
