Atlanta Best of Series-Wine Bars

Atlanta is a plentiful city full of rich nightlife and a decadent restaurant scene. Oh, Atlanta. We love you for your charm, beauty and eclectic energy, but mostly because you grace us with some of the best wining and dining options in the south. From southern-style BBQ to award-winning steaks, Atlanta is an awesome place to live. So, awesome in fact, I decided to do a best of series and focus on one of my favorites: wine. Wind down, whine down or wine down. Which do you prefer? I am going to assume the latter and go ahead and give you the three best wine bars in Atlanta. D'Vine Wine Bar and Shop It may not be the trendiest wine bar in Atlanta, but don't judge a wine bar by its cover. Instead, judge it by its label, and this label happens to have more awards than necessary.

Given the Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator in 2009, 2012, and 2013, Picked Top 10 Wine Bars in Atlanta in 2014 by Gayot, and voted as one of America's Top Wine Bars in 2014 by Fodor's Travel, D'Vine is a must taste on your next trip to Atlanta. Krog Bar Making the Inman Park neighborhood its home, Krog Bar is the brainchild of the Rathbun Team. Their goal is to continue to serve the Atlanta diners with cutting edge chef-driven restaurants while establishing a local, regional and nationwide following. Oh and their wine is sensational, originating from some of the best vineyards in the world.

Murphy's Murphy's is one of Atlanta's best-loved restaurants and has been for more than 30 years. Located in the heart of stylish Virginia Highland, Murphy's is the long-standing hub of neighborhood camaraderie and the choice destination for visitors seeking the best of the district's dining and nightlife. As well as an excellent restaurant, Murphy's is also a bakery and wine shop. The wine program includes weekly themed wine tastings on Tuesday nights, an on-site retail shop, and exclusive wine dinners with prestigious winemakers. E 48th Street Market Sample a dish or two, sip a cup of Espresso or Cappuccino enjoy a Cannoli, along with the friendliness and hospitality of the Augellos as you delight in an unusual shopping experience where regular customers stop in to exchange news about family and friends. Fine Italian wines are awaiting your arrival and just like an Italian family, it will be hard to let them go.
