Easter From the Land and Sea- Taverna Fiorentina

This Easter weekend in Atlanta, come over to Taverna Fiorentina for their Easter from the Land and Sea Easter brunch and dinner special. Start your Easter Sunday with $5 mimosas and bellinis, served all day! The Land and Sea special include steamed mussels, rainbow trout, lamb chops and of course, premium Italian varietal wines from the best regions. Located in the Vinings neighborhood, Taverna Fiorentina offers a Tuscan dining experience the entire family will appreciate. Their Easter special runs from 11:30AM-9:30PM Easter Sunday and reservations are highly recommended. Dubbed Atlanta's premier Tuscan kitchen, Taverna Fiorentina presents time-honored, authentic Florentine dishes that stand alongside contemporary classics from Italy's most famous region - legendary both for its rich tradition and daring diversity.

Fresh, simple, and flavorful, Taverna Fiorentina brings a taste of Tuscany to Atlanta. In addition to their Easter special this weekend, they also offer monthly events. On the last Thursday of every month at 6:30PM, each of Taverna Fiorentina's wine dinners showcase varietals from a featured region. The evening begins in an intimate private dining space, the Tuscan Room, with an antipasti reception of artisanal meats and Italian cheeses, followed by a four-course pairing dinner with select wines. The dining room offers an intimate, communal like setting, with the warmth you would expect from any Italian meal.

The tables, designed in Florence, Italy, are quickly filled with oversized china and convey an immediate sense of comfort and sophistication without pretense. The bar is a complete contrast to the dining room, offering a more contemporary atmosphere with a full bar and a carefully crafted wine list. Taverna Fiorentina is owned and operated by two partners, Paolo Tondo, Executive Chef, and Jasmin Reyes Scott, certified Sommelier, each bring their own unique set of talents to the partnership of Taverna Fiorentina. One focus on the food and the other the wine. I can't think of a better pairing, can you? For more information about the author, Denielle D'Ambrosio, please visit my Google+ profile page.
