Fad Irish Pub to Open in Shops at Metropolis in 2015

Classic, yet contemporary, Fado Irish Pub will open in Shops at Metropolis the first quarter of 2015. Fado, which features its original location in Buckhead, will occupy the former La Tagliatella space at 919 Peachtree Street NE. A Gaelic word meaning 'long ago,' Fado pairs Irish traditions with Dublin's modern pub culture to offer high quality food, drink and banter. Open weekdays for lunch and dinner, Fado's menu features an enticing mix of traditional Irish standards and new tavern favorites. Stop by for some bangers and mash, or try a new cocktail fusion paired with your steak. Wake up with an Irish coffee... or go to bed with an Irish coffee.

"We have been looking for the ideal Midtown location for quite some time and we think we have found it at Metropolis," said Fado founding partner Kieran McGill. "Irish pubs In addition to being the social centers, now include savory food, local beers and excellent cocktails. We're excited to bring a 2015 vintage pub to Midtown residents, neighbors and workers alike." Have you ever been to Dublin? Well now you can feel like you have. Fado showcases a dining experience similar to those in Dublin, which exhibit seasonal food menus that rival the best restaurants, craft beers from local breweries and housemade cocktails. Made from scratch with all-natural ingredients and free from trans fats, menu items include a variety of specials, snacks, appetizers, sandwiches, salads, big plates and more.

Fado also offers weekend brunch, happy hour and late night specials. The drink menu includes everything from the quintessential pint of Guinness, to a wide selection of local and regional craft beers, housemade cocktails, wine and Irish coffee. The Midtown destination is currently home to vibrant lifestyle concepts including Orangetheory Fitness, Sweet Hut Bakery & Cafe and numerous others. Fado joins this eclectic mix of restaurants, retailers and services, and invites the Midtown community to experience Ireland's pub culture.
