How to Celebrate July 4th in Atlanta

Looking for way to make this July 4th go off with a bang? (Pun intended) Then we have you covered! Here are the best ways to celebrate our Nation's Independence in style while having a blast! (Did it again, didn't I?) All funny puns aside, there is plenty of family-friendly activity to help really kick off this summer. Let's get this summer started the right way, shall we? Fourth of July - Centennial Park The gates of Centennial Olympic Park open at 6 p.m., and the fireworks synchronized to music begin at 9:45 p.m. for the 4th of July Celebration. Free. Fireworks viewing - Aquarium Two versions: Red White & Brew includes beer , a BBQ buffet, and live music in the ballroom, plus fireworks watching from atop the Georgia Aquarium parking deck.

Red White & View is a family version. Peachtree Road Race - >Peachtree Road Race 10K follows a scenic course from Buckhead to Piedmont Park. Fourth of July - Marietta The Fourth of July Celebration features a parade, live concerts, museum tours, arts & crafts, food, carnival games, and fireworks at Marietta Square. Free. Fourth of July - at the malls 4th of July at Lenox Square Mall begins at 6 p.m. with family-friendly live music, food vendors, and a kids' zone, followed by fireworks at 9:40 p.m. >The Fabulous Fourth at Mall of Georgia features family-friendly activities and live music at 5 p.m., fireworks at dusk, and then a movie in Buford.
