Nacho Taco but Mine

I don't know why, but I always associate tacos with summer. Maybe it's because growing up I remember my mom making them a lot over summer vacation, or maybe it is just because I tend to eat a lot of them when it's hot out. Either way, it dawned on me how many awesome taco places their are in Atlanta and I have barely covered any of them! Well, let's put that to rest, shall we? Obviously, this is just my opinion and I have yet to even put a dent in the many, many places where Atlanta offers this cuisine, but at least it's a start. I give you my top 5 places in Atlanta (and slightly out of Atlanta) where you can get a unique, mouth-watering taco. 1. El Taco Voted "Best Mexican" by Citysearch, El Taco is Atlanta's favorite neighborhood taqueria serving simple and fresh classic Mexican dishes in a friendly and fun environment. With Taco choices being everything from chicken liver, to mushroom, you will see why this place was voted "The Best." Check it out, you might even get lucky and win a prize on the Wheel of Taco 2.

LA PARRILLA MEXICAN RESTAURANT For the best Southeastern Mexican zest, your first and only stop must be La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant. Opening their doors in 1994, they have been serving up a Fiesta, with exciting and delicious menu items that enchant and fascinate their guests. 3. NUEVO LAREDO CANTINA Your search for the best Mexican food in Atlanta is over. Voted "Best of Atlanta" by Atlanta Magazine since 1992. Nuevo Laredo Cantina features authentic food prepared by Mexican cooks. Specialties include: Chicken Mole, Pork Tender Briskets, Best Chile Rellenos, Lobster Tacos, and Enchiladas. 4. TACO MAC A little chain-restaurant feel, but their tacos are simply to die for. All their meat is all-natural, hormone free and local. That may be why I like this place so much, but either way, it is worth checking out for not only their tacos, but their craft beers as well! 5. TWISTED TACO Established in 2002, Twisted Taco is an American Mexican Cantina. However, they are unlike the run of the mill cantina. Their innovative design and unique food inspired them to refer to their menu as AmeriMex. They fuse new American and bold Mexican flavors to form a one of a kind "Twist" on Mexican cuisine.
