Redesigned Sun Dial Restaurant Bar View Officially Reopens

One of Atlanta's most celebrated restaurants has gotten a bit of a facelift, and let's just say it's looking better than ever, if you can believe it could get any better. The Sun Dial Restaurant Bar & View not only boasts the best restaurant view in the city, but it's also a frequent home for residents who enjoy upscale dining and fabulous service. The last few months have seen the Atlanta landmark closed for renovation, but all that is over and the new and improved Sun Dial is ready to impress Atlanta once again.

Check out all the details! A whopping seventy-two stories above Peachtree, The Sun Dial Reopens with a fresh spin on Atlanta dining featuring new decor, a new menu and new local partnerships all of which invigorate the iconic Atlanta restaurant. "This renovation marks the transformation of the Sun Dial from a view-inspired landmark to a restaurant driven by terrific food," said Brad Schoknecht, general manager of The Sun Dial Restaurant. "In my opinion, our view is the best in the city, and while many guests come for the view, we believe they will return for the complete dining experience." While closed for renovation, Chef Jason Starnes redesigned each of the restaurant's menus, focusing on seasonal food that is procured from local farms.

"Choosing to purchase local goods is more than a trend - it boosts the local economy and allows me to build relationships with the farmers, which helps assure a quality product," said Starnes. "When you see the passion farmers put into the stewardship of their land and crops to yield excellent products, it's inspirational. My new menus highlight their familiar ingredients, but display them in a way that may be unfamiliar and a whole lot of fun." The Bar Hours: Monday - Friday from 4:00 p.m. until closing, Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until closing, Sunday from 2:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. The View Hours: Daily from 10:00 a.m. until closing.
