Restaurant Profile Delias Chicken and Sausage Stand

As I post week after week of amazing new finds for restaurants in Atlanta, I have to take a moment and acknowledge and oldie, but goodie (and even a newbie). Delia's Chicken and Sausage Stand has been perfecting their sausage recipe for the last 15 years. "The organic, hormone-free chicken sausage provides a more flavorful, healthier alternative to fast food in Atlanta. All dishes are prepared with care and presented in a fun and memorable manner - 100% Goodness is guaranteed with each bite." Delia's Chicken Sausage Stand, located in the thriving neighborhood of East Atlanta, is the brainchild of two local restaurateurs, Delia Champion and Molly Gunn.

The Sausage Stand offers a unique menu featuring locally produced chicken sausage and prides themselves as the home of "The Slinger" and offers over 10 different ways to consume your sausage. Not to mention the numerous toppings that can add the perfect touch to your sandwich. The reason I post this article today is to announce Delia's second location, slated to open later this year. Yes. The food is that good, they need it in two locations. It'll be located at 881 Marietta Street and is currently in the building permit phase with the city. Not only does Delia's make it more convenient by giving us sausage-connoisseurs twice the access to her amazing recipes, but now Delia's Chicken Sausage links and patties are also now available in all Georgia Publix supermarkets.

Woo Hoo! The brains behind the brand "While working as a waitress at the Atlanta restaurant Indigo, Delia Champion dreamed of one day opening up her own restaurant. In 1993, her dream became a reality when she launched The Flying Biscuit Cafe in charming Candler Park, an intown Atlanta neighborhood. The Candler Park restaurant opened to rave reviews and, a few years later in 2000, Delia opened a second location in Midtown Atlanta before working to franchise the concept." Menu: Hours: M-Th 7am-10pm // 24hrs from Fri 7am-Sun 10pm For more information about the author, Denielle D'Ambrosio, please visit my Google+ profile page.
