The Holiday Chorale Tuba Christmas Back at Underground Atlanta

If there is one thing more enticing than the food during the holiday season, it's definitely the music. Whether you're inundated with Christmas standards on the radio, happen to catch a holiday video countdown or prefer to blast your personal collection of holiday carols, chances are that during this time of year it's practically impossible to avoid the cheery and festive sounds of holiday music. Underground Atlanta, one of the city's most popular attractions, seems to appreciate the appeal of holiday music by bringing back their specialty music series.

Two separate musical events that are both family-friendly, The Holiday Chorale Series and Tuba Christmas are back this year with more festive tunes than ever. Playing now until Christmas, the Holiday Chorale series will feature daily live performances from local and regional school and church choirs, musicians, vocalists and bands. They have been practicing all your favorite holiday tunes, so come out and enjoy the show. The stage for this beautiful chorale music is located indoors across from the PAC-MAN Play Arcade. If sung Christmas carols aren't your thing or perhaps you can appreciate another form of music, there are some lively tubas in the mix.

Fellow music lovers won't want to miss the annual Tuba Christmas on Friday, Dec. 7 from noon to 1 p.m. What began in 1974 as a tribute to artist/teacher William J. Bell has continued around the country over the years and is now one of Atlanta's most beloved holiday traditions. This local favorite is back again for an outdoor show by adults and children of all ages. Lucky you, their performance is just in time for the lunch break, so swing by and grab lunch at Underground Atlanta during this one-of-a-kind holiday spectacle.

It's so nice that the city of Atlanta continues to offer festive events for the holidays that families and friends can partake in and enjoy that celebrate the spirit of the city and the season.
