The Living Room at W Atlanta - Midtown Presents ART Official

Those thoroughly in tune with the art community are probably well-informed of the phenomenon known as the pop-up art gallery. For the rest of the world, in this case Atlanta residents, you may not know what it is yet, but you'll soon find out courtesy of the W Atlanta - Midtown. The popular midtown hotel is unleashing the ART Official series that aims to showcase local talent and bring communities together.

Check out what it's all about! The Living Room at W Atlanta - Midtown, Gerber Group and Whiskey Park Atlanta are excited to announce the Spring/Summer line up for ART Official, a monthly pop-up art gallery and cocktail party that engages the senses and acts as a precursor to Atlanta's most popular festivals. Launching last month, the 2 nd Annual ART Official series will feature works by Atlanta's bold street artists, crafted cocktails, and a series of rotating DJ's.

Below is the line-up for the remainder of the season: Thursday, May 16, 9pm - 3am Jazz things up with a live art installation by Atlanta's own Monica Tookes and works by Charlton Palmer's "Coulrophobia" collection. Thursday, June 20, 9pm - 3am Before the Summer Solstice, chill out with Emer - Cabbagetown resident and Cube Gallery owner - as he debuts his newest collection of works, "cityscapes." June's ART Official will also feature live painting sessions with Chris Hobe of Artistic Revolution and sounds by DJ Jay Envy. Thursday, July 18, 9pm - 3am Raising the flag to Living Walls! Thursday, August 15, 9pm- 3am With summer in full stride, ART Official raises a glass to Grant Park's Summer Shade Festival by showcasing works by local SCAD graduate Curron Gajadhar, Katie Petty, Yun Bai, Paula Sinisterra and Chris Hobe of Artistic Revolution.
