The Luminary Opens Up in Atlanta

The French are coming to Atlanta! French-American Brasserie, The Luminary , is finally open! As the first restaurant to open its doors in the Krog Street Market , The Luminary is a culinary genius, spanning from some of the best chefs in the industry and influenced by visionaries. While the Krog Street Market has yet to officially open its doors, the Luminary is in fact open for business. (Krog Street is expected to open either late September or early October.) The Inman Park neighborhood just got a whole lot prettier with this beauty. As the rest of the market comes to life, The Luminary glows with delight, ready to greet its many guests. The classically inspired menu can speak for itself, although I don't mind doing it the honor. While it offers some classics that you may be familiar with, it's the way they prepare everything that makes it so unique. Their black cod is topped with their signature sauce and the steak frites are soaked in the most decadent butter you can imagine.

As most restaurants go, everything pairs well with the perfect drink. The Luminary has enough signature cocktails to get your through your appetizer, salad, entree and dessert. Described as an American brasserie with regional influences and named after Atlanta's historic first newspaper, The Luminary also features large raw bar, craft beer and cocktail program and 400-square-foot patio space. The restaurant is open year round and offers private dining for larger or more intimate parties. Guests can expect to spend anywhere between $75-$125 for two people, which is phenomenal when you taste the food and experience what The Luminary has to offer.
