It's March Madness! And...I don't just mean because of all the basketball going on this weekend, but because this weekend is jam packed with things to do around this great city of Atlanta. The extra hour of daylight is not going to be wasted this weekend, I can tell you that much. With St. Patties Day only a few days away, thus making this the "big party" weekend, there are plenty of bar crawls, local pub parties and even a parade to get us all in the Irish spirit. Not in the mood to drink green beer with 200 of your closest friends? There is still plenty of comedy and excitement to choose from. Thursday, March 13 SEC Basketball Tournament . Don't miss the 2014 Southeastern Conference Men's Basketball Tournament at the Georgia Dome March 12-16. The SEC's postseason men's basketball tournament is sure to be filled with spirit and excitement!

When the Civil War began, the country wasn't the only thing being torn apart. Families and life-long friends were ripped one from the other. After the war they began the long, difficult process of finding their loved ones. While the Nature Center usually closes at sundown, this fall visitors will have the rare chance to connect with nature after-hours allowing for a completely different sensory experience as the nocturnal animals take over, and nature truly runs its course. Our hikes will start at 7 p.m. and end at 8 p.m. followed by cocoa, stargazing, and a warming fire.

The world famous Harlem Globetrotters have been thrilling families and millions of fans for 88 years, all the while innovating the game in exciting new ways. Don't miss the "2014 Fans Rule" World Tour coming to Philips Arena on March 15! St Patrick's Day Parade . The 2014 festivities will kick off at 11:45 am, with special pre-parade performances by local Irish Dance Groups and Irish Musicians. The performance will take place on Peachtree Street - directly in front of the VIP Reviewing Stand. At noon, the parade officially steps off on Peachtree Street in Midtown. The 2014 parade will feature more than 2,000 dancers, musicians and Irish enthusiasts, as well as huge parade balloons, floats, marching bands, clowns, animals and one of the world's largest Irish walking flags.
