The holidays are long gone and so are any sort of diet or normal sleep hours that once consumed our lives. As many may use this upcoming weekend as a time to reflect, re-budget and even reevaluate the past few crazy weeks, the rest of us will most likely not skip a beat and continue on our normal path of destruction. For those of us looking for a good time, this weekend is no exception. For everyone else who is looking to relax, we have a little bit of that for you, too. It's time to make new resolutions as we enter 2014 and why not start with adding a little more fun to your life? Thursday, January 2nd The Centennial Olympic Park Ice Rink. Celebrating its fifteenth anniversary season in the fall, downtown Atlanta's only outdoor ice skating rink at Centennial Olympic Park is an annual holiday tradition. Visitors enjoy covered observation seating, theatrical lighting on the real ice and holiday music. $10 per person to skate(includes $2 skate rental), 90 minutes of skate time. Priscilla the Pink Pig will once again carry children of all ages through a life-sized storybook filled with friends and fun beneath the signature 170-foot, 1950's themed Pink Pig Tent. The ride will remain open through Sunday, January 5, 2014. Each ride costs $3 and repeat rides have a special discounted price (2 rides for $5.50, 3 rides for $7.50). True to tradition, a portion of the proceeds from each ride will benefit Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
