Things to do this Weekend - July 26 to 28

It's never too early to plan your weekend. Yes, it may only be Tuesday, but that just means that you have four days to get your weekend planning right. From sporting events, to concerts, Atlanta cools down these hot summer days with some of the coolest events in town. Friday, July 26 th * The Atlanta Braves take on the St. Louis Cardinals at Turner Field at 7:30PM.

Come cheer them on their home field! Tickets are available here . * Brown Bag Fridays at Atlantic Station. Doors open at 11AM and enjoy live music in Central Park and amazing lunch specials. * 7:00PM in Central Park kicks off the Friday Night Live! free concert series in Central park. Come enjoy some local bands, food and beer! * Barenaked Ladies, Ben Folds Five and Guster kick off the weekend with their "Last Summer on Earth" tour. Doors open at 6:00PM at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. Tickets are available here . Saturday, July 27 th * The Atlanta Braves take on the St. Louis Cardinals at Turner Field at 3:05PM. Tickets are available here . * The Atlanta Ice Cream Festival starts at 11:00AM at Piedmont Park. Local ice cream vendors will be serving the coolest and most delicious ice cream flavors around. Come sample some of your favorite classics, or try some of the unique flavors. Food will also be available. * The 11 th annual Atlanta Restaurant Week kicks off at 9:00AM in downtown. Come sample the menus of over 35 restaurants by offering $15, $25, or $35 prix-fixe brunch, lunch and dinner menus. * Keith Urban performs live with at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park. Doors open at 6:00PM with Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch as the opening acts. Ticket information is available here . Sunday, July 28 th * The Atlanta Braves take on the St. Louis Cardinals at Turner Field at 8:05PM. Tickets are available here . * Cheer on your favorite tennis Stars at the BB&T open. More information is available here . * Are you a Dr. Seuss fan? Come to the Center for Puppetry Arts for a chance to see The Cat in the Hat brought to life on stage.
