It's October! One of my all time favorite months and I assume most feel the same way, especially since it's the last month before the brutal cold sets in! Ahh, October. A month dedicated to aiding us with great weather, fun holidays and an endless supply of dark beers, as we approach the inevitable winter months. Enjoy the fall fun before the holiday season fast approaches and step outside of your comfort zone and enjoy some fall festivities. Thursday, October 3 rd The A3C Hip Hop Festival welcomes its 9 th year as it runs all weekend, starting Wednesday, October 2 nd . A3C [All 3 Coasts] is one of the largest hip-hop festivals in the US and takes place annually in Atlanta, GA. A3C has grown from a local hip-hop showcase to an international festival, and incomparable cultural experience, including: Music, Art, Film, Style, Education, Pro-Audio and More. A3C takes at dozens of venues centrally located throughout four closely connected, high traffic, cultural hubs in Atlanta: Old 4thWard, Little 5 Points, Downtown and East Atlanta Village.

ASO World Premier! ASO favorite Garrick Ohlsson plays one of the great late-Romantic piano concertos, Rachmaninov's Second - his passionate return to composing after losing his musical voice. Maestro Spano and the Orchestra premiere a new work by Richard Prior, Director of Orchestral Studies at Emory University. Adam Schoenberg's American Symphony pays homage to the history of our nation. The show runs through Saturday, October 5 th . Opa! The Atlanta Greek Festival arrives and stays for 3 whole days! Cole featuring Wale performs at The Fox Theater at starting at 8PM.

The Atlanta Football Classic presented by 100 Black Men of Atlanta is one of the nation's largest Black college football games pitting North Carolina A&T University Aggies against South Carolina State University Bulldogs on the gridiron. Come and celebrate on the streets of historic downtown Alpharetta as ABA presents the 3rd annual Alpharetta Brew Moon Fest . Brew, wine and delicious food from some of Alpharetta's best restaurants will be available for sale as the city comes together for one big street party!
