Unplugged in the Park at Park Tavern

We all have a little inner rockstar hidden deep down inside, so why not fully indulge it and set it free at one of the best free music showcases in Atlanta. The annual Unplugged in the Park at Park Tavern offers so much music by so many great acts, that it's almost impossible to refrain from head-banging just a little. Rock on! Courtesy of 99x, Atlanta's alternative radio station, Unplugged in the Park at Park Tavern celebrates 10 years of providing Atlanta with live music from the acts they love.

What began on May 6th and runs through September 30th, the next installment of Unplugged in the Park is on August 26th at 7pm. This particular showtime is set to feature performances by Will Turpin & The Way, Justin Kalk Orchestra and The Romans. According to event officials, "Unplugged in the Park offers something for everyone... and as always it goes down in the friendly, laid-back, and air conditioned confines of Park Tavern in the shadows of the Midtown Atlanta skyline." While the Unplugged series is a 21 and older show, children will be admitted when accompanied by a parent, so feel free to bring them out and let them experience great music too.

There is a multitude of other summer concert series' in Atlanta, but this one held at Park Tavern is definitely in a league of its own, which is evidenced by its milestone 10 th year. This event is free and open to the public with food and beverage options available on site. For more information visit http://www.parktavern.com/upcoming-events/unplugged/ .
