Yellow Daisy Festival 2012

What do you get when you combine art, flowers, food and live entertainment? Well, that would be one of Stone Mountain Park's most popular events, the Yellow Daisy Festival. While the majority of the festival season is winding down, this is one of the few outdoor festivals in September that the whole family can be a part of. September 6 th -9 th , the Yellow Daisy Festival takes up residence at its home location Stone Mountain Park.

With an expected attendance rate of 200,000, you can easily see that this is one of the hottest events in town. It also means that you should get there ahead of time to ensure that you get the opportunity to fully enjoy the experience. Featuring 400 artists and crafters from 38 States and two countries display their works for your appreciation and purchase.

There is also daily live entertainment, Children's Corner activities, and crafter demonstrations throughout the event as well as fabulous festival foods. Against the beautiful landscape of Stone Mountain, it's no wonder that the Yellow Daisy Festival was voted one of the top three festivals in the nation by Sunshine Artist Magazine and a winner of multiple awards from the Southeast Festival and Events Association.

The times of the Yellow Daisy Festival are as follows: Thursday 10am-6pm, Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 10am-7:30pm and Sunday 10am-6pm. Entry into the festival is free with a $10 vehicle entrance fee.
